Let’s be honest, raising kids today feels like a whole new ball game. The world seems to be spinning faster than ever.
There are so many challenges these days in our fast paced environment, some old and some new ones but all constantly evolving.
The cost of living is constantly on our minds, social media has become something unavoidable and will no doubt have an incredible influence on kids as they grow up.
It often feels like our kids are growing up in the blink of an eye.
It can be overwhelming, and it’s easy to feel like you’re the only one trying to figure it all out.
Our Story (and Why We’re Here)
That’s where we come in. We’re a family of four, navigating this journey with our six-year-old and our three-year-old. Watching them grow has been the greatest joy of our lives, but seeing the challenges they face, and the ones we face as parents, has been a huge learning experience.
We don’t have all the answers, and we certainly don’t always get it right! We’ve made our fair share of mistakes (probably more than our fair share), spent countless hours pouring through books and guides, and learned so much through trial and error.
We wanted to use this blog to share the hints and tips that have genuinely worked for us. It’s our way of documenting the process of learning and getting better, in the hope that our experiences can make things just a little bit easier for other families out there.

It’s important to us that we’re clear about something from the start. Everything you read here comes from our own thoughts and personal opinions. We firmly believe there is no single “right” answer when it comes to parenting.
You know your kids best, and what works for our family might not be the perfect fit for yours – and that is completely okay! Please take our posts as ideas for you to build upon, not as a set of strict rules.
Our goal is to create a place for honest and respectful discussion. We are always open to feedback and new ideas from this amazing community. Let’s all share what we’ve learned so that we can all benefit and find our own best path forward.
